... like maybe not sticking the bubble wand directly on your mouth if you expect something to happen. Like mother, like daughter, I suppose. There are days when neither one of us has a lick of common sense.
(But I would like to point out that only one of us still eats Play-Doh. Although I do love the smell of it, especially when it's new.) We're getting excited about the weekend, too. There's a chance of snow late tomorrow, but it's supposed to be clear and above freezing on Saturday and Sunday, which is always a good thing.
I know I'm not the only one who is looking forward to getting out of the house for a little while. Fresh air. Sunshine. Hooray!
Winter is almost over! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Let us chortle in our joy.
good maybe i can get a little birthday stuff done early ???? love mom
ReplyDeletetwas brillig and the slithy toad ... sorry i'm such a slacker about posting pictures! when i get back from mexico i'll try to be much better!!
ReplyDelete@Mom -- we'll be up this weekend. Probably be Saturday, we'll let you know.
ReplyDelete@J -- you should take your camera with you when you travel! I know you're there on business, but airplane wing pictures are interested to those of us who don't get to go anywhere. ;-)
I work Sat, so if I don't get to see you, maybe I can come down on Sunday? Let me know! I miss you guys! Maybe then you and R can have a date day?
ReplyDeleteTrue story: My dad strongly encouraged in me in my efforts to memorize poems as a kid (like 10yo or so) and TO THIS DAY I can still recite all of "Jabberwocky." It's why I'm such a hit at parties, obviously.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE "Jabberwocky." Back in the days when I thought I might want to be an actress, I used to use it for monologues. Then I switched over to Monty Python bits.
