In the continuing story of my new year's resolutions, currently in progress, I now bring you ...
(4) THIS YEAR, I RESOLVE TO PROCRASTINATE LESS AND "PROACTIVATE" MORE. I really need to stop putting things off and then half-assing them. I've been doing it forever, but now that we have the Cupcake, we don't "get around to it later" all that much. So I really want to start being more conscious of what and when I am doing things. Rough drafts of blog posts, etc. More content and less diversions. This year, I resolve to procrastinate less and "proactivate" more. But not until later.
Quick! Be distracted by this picture of my kid doing something cute and kid-like!
you need to do something with that 'fro ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh my god the hair ... we're trying to grow it out. i think it should sit nice if we let it get a little longer. at least i brushed it.
ReplyDelete"Proactivate" more? That can't possibly be a word. Who are you, George Bush?
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, that's a totally fake made-up word. and i knew it wasn't a real word when i wrote it, which is why it is in quotes. but the integrity of the "do xx less and do yy more" clause constructed was compromised, so i winged it. and did it half-assed, as it were. would it surprise anyway that i totally put off writing the resolution about procrastinating until i couldn't avoid it any more? no, me either.
ReplyDeleteno, i wasn't a writing major ... why do you ask? ;-)
ReplyDeletedo you have a pick for her hair? you really should only brush/comb it when it's wet, and then let the curls form. brushing when it's dry will definitely make her hair fro.
ReplyDeletebut ... i LIKE the fro.
